Purchase an inexpensive ad-free PDF version of this pattern which includes the written version and the colourwork chart in my Ravelry and Etsy shops. Seriously, I replaced all the other multi-purpose cotton I had in my stash with this stuff and I don’t regret it. This yarn is fabulous for washclothes, crochet mug rugs, colourwork projects, bags and more. They make it easy to do that though because WeCrochet has a value pack where you can buy Dishie in every colour and it saves you a bit of money. Dishie is such a fabulous 100% cotton yarn and I love it so much, I bought it in every colour they sell. For this project, I used my favourite multi-purpose cotton yarn: WeCrochet Dishie. Yarn yardage given for this project is approximate and based on the gauge given. Gauge isn’t super vital to this project but just keep in mind that not matching gauge will affect the size of your crochet mug rug and the amount of yarn utilized. The Ghoster Coaster – Free Crochet Coaster Pattern.Other Free Crochet Coaster and Mug Rug Patterns available on my site: If you don’t want the tassels, you can weave in your ends if you choose but I think it adds to the rug feel of my little crochet mug rug. Using only two colours makes this easy to do the colourwork needed to create our monstera leaf image and keeping those ends on each side, eliminates the need to weave in ends. To create the tassels, you’ll leave a tail of a few inches on both sides of the project and trim them up at the end. You’ll carry the unused yarn as you work each row and finish off both colours at the end of each row, reattaching your yarn in the first stitch for every new row.
